This 3 Days safari will take you to Uganda’s hidden wildlife havens, located close to Kampala as well as Bwindi Impenetrable and Queen Elizabeth National Parks and is home to 350 bird species as well as zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, Oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck. Some of the activities to be carried out will include, game drives in the park, boat cruise on Lake Mburo to view hippos and crocodiles and optionally nature/ community walk around the areas of the park.
Day 1: Kampala – Lake Mburo National park
After an early morning breakfast, our driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel, he will also brief you about your 3 Days safari to Lake Mburo National Park. Thereafter he will drive you to the park through the Kampala Masaka highway. As you advance to Masaka through scenic drive, you will make a few stops, one at the Equator for photography. Then proceed to Lake Mburo arriving, check in at your lodge, have lunch and relax. Later embark on a community walk visiting the locals and the pastoral communities.
Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise on Lake Mburo
After breakfast, take a morning bush game walk. Expect to see Zebras, Impalas, water bark, buffaloes, giraffes, topis among others. Return to the lodge to enjoy a late breakfast and rest. After lunch you will head for a scenic boat cruise on the lake Mburo viewing crocodiles and hippos. Later drive back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Kampala
Wake in the morning and head for another game drive in the park to view wildlife and later after the game drive return to your lodge. Check out and transfer to the Entebbe International airport or preferred destination.
