Ubuntu Voyages brings you to Zanzibar, a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania. It is composed of the Zanzibar Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, 25–50 kilometers (16–31 mi) off the coast of the mainland, and consists of many small islands and two large ones: Unguja (the main island, referred to informally as Zanzibar) and Pemba Island. Zanzibar is a breathtaking spot to escape from the world. You’ll enjoy clear, turquoise-blue water; shallow sandbars perfect for wading; and many small, nearly deserted islands virtually unvisited by tourists. Explore the World Heritage Site of Stone Town, Zanzibar City’s old quarter. Relax on the white palm-fringed beaches or choose any activities such as snorkeling, diving, Jozani Forest tour, spice tour, Prison island tour, etc.
Day 1: Arrival – Airport – Hotel
When you arrive in Zanzibar, you will meet our representative and driver to welcome you. You will then be transferred to the Hotel, after check in; you will have a briefing on excursions and the whole program. You will spend your afternoon at leisure; you will be at the Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: This day is spent for relaxation on the unspoiled coasts of Zanzibar beach.
Day3: City& Spice tour with Local Lunch
After breakfast at 8:30am, you are off to a very interesting morning tour of the historic Stone town. Learn about architecture, history and culture of this uniquely preserved world heritage site of UNESCO in this half day guided tour, after a lunch break you will head to the north for your exotic spice tour where you will sample different spices, fruits and coconut juice. In late afternoon, return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day4: Nakupenda full day excursion with all inclusive
This day is designed to be perfect getaway from the busy Stone Town, your day starts at 09:00 by boarding a boat to Changuu Prison Island and visiting/relaxing on the sunbank; where you will spend your day swimming, snorkeling, eating and drinking. You will also visit the tortoises’ centaury and feed these giants with bananas or spinach. In the afternoon we take you back to hotel.
Day 5: Dolphin and Jozani National Park.
Your day starts at 08:30 am in a drive to the southern end of Zanzibar, Kizmkazi, formerly the capital of Zanzibar in its hey days, and this place is once a capital- the East African dolphin viewing capital. Its not a guarantee to see the dolphins. Snorkeling is very good in this area. After a stop at Jozani Forest to see the rare Red colobus monkeys and the mangroves. Then return to the Hotel for lunch .
Days 6: Relax on the Beach
This day is spent for relaxation on the unspoiled coasts of Zanzibar beach.
